On coming home…I was hitting a little night time road running last night, watching my shadow creep up from behind and overtake me every 50 odd meters, and thought to myself…this is the first time I feel like me again since the flight.

Crack Town Love…Three days ago we cleared out of our spot in Gastown. A friend of a friend had heard about the demise of the ‘Silver Bullet’ along with all the comprehensively-insured gear we lost, that was covered for everything except fire, and offered us his pad for two weeks while he was driving through Utah taking pics of all the stunning National Parks. All he asked for in return is that we fill his fridge with beer, a request which I took quite seriously.

Fat fillet steaks & borrowed equipment…So today’s post comes from my buddy Joel’s village condo in Whistler. It’s one of the last big summer weekends in terms of the influx of ‘weekend warriors’ coming up from the city. Over 4 000 multicolored cyclists have just arrived in town in a race from Vancouver, so things look pretty packed. I was hoping to perform an ‘apres’ set on a patio at the finish line, but its cold and raining so we booked an indoor gig for tomorrow night instead and have taken the day to chill out and write some music.

Bloggin’ from my iPhone!I’m rolling shotgun in the silver bullet snaking past the Okenagen lake on our way to Oosoyos. My good buddy Damon (tour manager extreme) is giving us the scenic route that boasts majestic roadside cliff faces, wine farms (we are entering the wine capital of Canada) and one of the bigger lakes in Canada aside from the great lakes.
